Welcome to Carrotsticks and Cravings!

Carrotsticks and Cravings is a healthy food haven – cafe, cooking school and food blog where you’ll find deliciously nutritious food made with nothing less than love. It’s run by me, Terri-Anne, a Melbourne expat living in Singapore, and a happily married wife and mum of 5-year-old twins, Eli and Olivia, and a 3-year-old daughter Hallie. My food philosophy is all about keeping things in moderation – I’m really good 80% of the time and a little indulgent 20% of the time. I’m all about super foods and creating healthy recipes during the week but when the weekend hits, nothing makes me happier than hosting dinner parties and creating decadent dishes to plate up to family and friends.

All the recipes posted here are my own creation. I find inspiration from family, friends, cookbooks, and my travels. I also often try and recreate recipes I’ve enjoyed at restaurants, while also putting my own healthy spin on it. I can guarantee that all my creations are tried and tested on my wonderful husband, Tom, whom when we first met thought that ice-cream and potatoes were food groups! God love him! My mum taught me her creative cooking skills and one day I hope I can teach my kids a thing or two in the kitchen, and dream of them loving to cook as much as I do.

    Smoothies look awesome (must get my Vitamix) and so does everything else. I can hear your personality just from you talking about your recipes! 🙂 Awesome blog hon!
