Quinoa Beef Burgers

Quinoa Beef Burgers my go-to burger that I make time and time again for BBQs and for football nights. They taste amazing and are an easy mix to make ahead of time and freeze the patties for a quick go-to meal. Make them smaller for sliders and add your favourite toppings.

  1. 500 grams lean beef mince
  2. 1 red onion
  3. 1 crushed garlic
  4. 1 egg
  5. ½ cup powdered raw quinoa
  6. ¼ cup flat leaf parsley
  7. 2 tbsp tomato paste
  8. Sea salt and cracked pepper
  1. Blitz raw quinoa in a blender to create powdered quinoa
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl with fingers until fully combined
  3. Shape into large handful burgers and place on a plate until ready to grill (this is also where you would freeze any extras)
  4. Grill burgers on a grill pan or BBQ for 3-4 minutes each side
  5. Serve on a bun with relish, cheese, tomato, beetroot and green leaves
